Street Films: Bogota Planning. This video is getting old, but it is worth watching again. This short video looks at Bogota, Colombia and how the actions of Enrique Peñalosa, former mayor, transformed the city in under a decade. Hopefully one day, we can have Colombian quality of life for cyclist and pedestrians here in North America !
On a related note, recently the City of Victoria announced that they will be taking two downtown parking spaces and transforming them into dedicated cycle parking, accommodating ten bikes each.
